Zeynep Aktar is a tango dancer and teacher based in Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated in English Literature from Boğaziçi University. She was involved in theatre for many years during her childhood and youth, developing a strong sense of expression, stage presence and storytelling that later became an essential part of her tango. With a natural ability for communication and a deep passion for teaching, she approaches tango as a living dialogue between two people — built on connection, awareness and emotional clarity.

Sercan Yiğit graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Business Administration, and is also an alumnus of Austrian High School. He speaks fluent German, English and Spanish. His academic and international background bring structure and perspective to his work. Alongside this, he has been involved in music since his teenage years. This strong musical foundation gives him a refined sense of rhythm, phrasing and orchestral interpretation, which deeply shapes both his dancing and his teaching methodology.

Together, they have been teaching for many years at festivals, workshops and tango weekends across Europe. They are widely appreciated for their soft yet powerful teaching style, their clarity, and the genuine attention they give to every student in the room. Thanks to this human-centered approach, they build lasting connections wherever they go and are frequently invited back.

Their tango is rooted in social dance, embracing musicality, harmony and authentic connection. They continuously train, research and evolve, believing that tango is a lifelong journey of growth and refinement.

For the past 10 years, they have been running their tango school, Tango Nar, in Beyoğlu, Istanbul. At Tango Nar, they have trained dancers from beginner to advanced levels and introduced countless people to tango, helping them grow not only technically but also as confident social dancers.

Their objective is clear: to share tango not only as a dance, but as a culture of connection, self-expression and awareness — a space where people can build a deeper connection both with their partners and with themselves.
